Ans. Lencho was a poor farmer. He had full faith in God. So he was satisfied. His fields needed water. So when the rain began to fall, he was very happy. But his joy was short-lived. The reason was that with the raining hailstones also fell in large number. So whole of his crops was ruined.
The result of the raining was that Lencho had to face the problem of total ruin. How he would support the family throughout the year and how he would sow his field, were worrying his mind. So he was in tension.
लेंचो एक गरीब किसान था। उन्हें ईश्वर पर पूरा विश्वास था। तो वह संतुष्ट हो गया। उनके खेतों को पानी की जरूरत थी। सो जब वर्षा होने लगी तो वह बहुत प्रसन्न हुआ। लेकिन उनका आनंद अल्पकालिक था। कारण यह था कि बारिश के साथ ओले भी बड़ी संख्या में गिरे। जिससे उनकी पूरी फसल बर्बाद हो गई।
बारिश का परिणाम यह हुआ कि लेंचो को पूरी तरह बर्बादी की समस्या का सामना करना पड़ा। साल भर वह परिवार का भरण-पोषण कैसे करेगा और अपने खेत की बुवाई कैसे करेगा, यह उसके मन की चिंता थी। इसलिए वह टेंशन में था।

Ans. Lencho was a hardworking farmer. His .crops were completely destroyed by the hailstorm. His family had nothing to eat. He believed that God would not let them die of hunger. His only hope was now to get help from God. So he wrote a letter to God requesting him to send him one hundred pesos. With this money he would sow his field again and feed his family.The postmaster received the letter through the postman. He was deeply impressed by the letter-writer’s faith in -God. He opened the letter and read it. He raised money in order to help the needy farmer. He sent the money to Lencho on behalf of God.
लेंचो एक मेहनती किसान था। ओलावृष्टि से उनकी फसल पूरी तरह बर्बाद हो गई। उनके परिवार के पास खाने के लिए कुछ नहीं था। उनका मानना था कि भगवान उन्हें भूख से नहीं मरने देंगे। उसकी एकमात्र आशा अब ईश्वर से सहायता प्राप्त करना थी। इसलिए उसने भगवान को पत्र लिखकर एक सौ पेसो भेजने का अनुरोध किया। इस पैसे से वह अपने खेत की फिर से बुवाई करेगा और अपने परिवार का भरण-पोषण करेगा।
पोस्टमास्टर को डाकिया के माध्यम से पत्र प्राप्त हुआ। वे पत्र-लेखक की ईश्वर में आस्था से बहुत प्रभावित हुए। उसने पत्र खोला और उसे पढ़ा। उन्होंने जरूरतमंद किसान की मदद के लिए पैसे जुटाए। उसने भगवान की ओर से लेनचो को पैसे भेजे

Ans. Lencho was a poor farmer. He was a hardworking man.He had full faith in God. So he was satisfied and happy. He had full confidence in God’s kindness. His field needed water. So when rain began to fall, he felt’ very happy. But his joy was short-lived. The rain fell heavily. With the rain , hailstones also fell in large number. He was unhappy to see the whole crop ruined He felt worried how he would support the family, sow his field and get the next crop good. So he was in tension.
Lencho had full faith in God’s mercy. So he wrote a letter to God requesting him to send him onehundred pesos. His faith bore fruit. He received help from the side of God. He received an envelope in which there were seventy pesos. His worries disappeared.
लेंचो एक गरीब किसान था। वह एक मेहनती आदमी था। उसे भगवान पर पूरा भरोसा था। तो वह था संतुष्ट और खुश। उन्हें ईश्वर की कृपा पर पूरा भरोसा था। उनके खेत को पानी की जरूरत थी। तो जब बारिश शुरू हुई गिरने के लिए, वह बहुत खुश महसूस किया। लेकिन उनका आनंद अल्पकालिक था। बारिश जोरों से गिरी। बारिश के साथ ओले भी गिरे भारी संख्या में गिरे। पूरी फसल को बर्बाद होता देख वह दुखी था। उसे चिंता हो रही थी कि वह कैसे गुजारा करेगापरिवार, अपने खेत की बुवाई करें और अगली फसल अच्छी लें। इसलिए वह टेंशन में था।
लेंचो को ईश्वर की दया पर पूरा विश्वास था। इसलिए उसने भगवान को एक पत्र लिखकर उसे एक भेजने का अनुरोध किया सौ पेसो। उसका विश्वास फलीभूत हुआ। उसे परमेश्वर की ओर से सहायता प्राप्त हुई। उन्हें एक लिफाफा मिला है जो सत्तर पेसो थे। उनकी चिंता दूर हो गई।

Ans. The postmaster was a fat, good and generous person. He was cheerful and fun – loving. When he saw the letter to God, he broke out laughing. For the sake of fun , he decided to answer the letter in order to shake the writer’s faith in God. He was also a kind and generous person. He decided to help the needy farmer. He collected money from post-office employees and friends and himself gave a part of his salary.He experienced the satisfaction of a man who had done a good deed. Thus there were admirable qualities in the character of the postmaster.
पोस्टमास्टर मोटा, अच्छा और उदार व्यक्ति था। वह हंसमुख और मस्ती-प्यार करने वाला था। जब उसने भगवान को पत्र देखा, तो वह हँस पड़ा। मनोरंजन के लिए उसने पत्र का उत्तर क्रम से देने का निश्चय किया ईश्वर में लेखक के विश्वास को हिलाने के लिए। वे एक दयालु और उदार व्यक्ति भी थे। उन्होंने जरूरतमंदों की मदद करने का फैसला किया किसान। वह डाकघर के कर्मचारियों और मित्रों से धन एकत्र करता था और अपने वेतन का एक भाग स्वयं देता था। उन्होंने एक ऐसे व्यक्ति की संतुष्टि का अनुभव किया जिसने एक अच्छा काम किया था। इस प्रकार उनमें सराहनीय गुण थे पोस्टमास्टर का चरित्र।

पोस्ट ऑफिस के कर्मचारियों ने लेंचो की मदद कैसे की? लेंचो उनकी मदद के लिए कैसे तैयार हुआ?
Ans.The postmaster read the letter of Lencho to God. He decided to help Lencho and his needy family. He gave a part of his salary. He collected some money from other post office employees. He also requested his friends to give money for this act of charity. But he was able to collect only a little more than half only. He sent the money to Lencho in an envelope. Lencho received the letter but it contained only seventy pesos. He became angry as God would not make such a mistake. He concluded that the post office employees had heated him. He called them a bunch of crooks.
पोस्टमास्टर ने लेंचो का पत्र भगवान को पढ़कर सुनाया। उसने लेंचो और उसके जरूरतमंद परिवार की मदद करने का फैसला किया। उन्होंने अपने वेतन का एक हिस्सा दिया। उसने डाकघर के अन्य कर्मचारियों से कुछ पैसे एकत्र किए। उन्होंने अपने दोस्तों से भी दान के इस कार्य के लिए पैसे देने का अनुरोध किया। लेकिन वह आधे से कुछ ही ज्यादा जुटा पाया। उसने पैसे एक लिफाफे में लेंचो को भेज दिए। लेंचो को पत्र मिला लेकिन उसमें केवल सत्तर पेसो थे। वह क्रोधित हो गया कि भगवान ऐसी गलती नहीं करेगा। उन्होंने निष्कर्ष निकाला कि डाकघर के कर्मचारियों ने उन्हें गर्म किया था। उन्होंने उन्हें बदमाशों का झुंड बताया।

Ans. Lencho was a poor farmer. His fields needed water badly. According to his own prediction there started raining. But the rain continued for a long time. With the rain hailstones followed. So Lencho was sad. The reason is that whole of his standing crop was utterly ruined. Not a single grain was left. His single hope left was help from God to get one hundred pesos to sow his field and to feed his family.
Lencho was a staunch believer in divine mercy. So he decided to write a letter to God demanding one hundred pesos.
लेंचो एक गरीब किसान था। उनके खेतों को पानी की सख्त जरूरत थी। उनकी अपनी भविष्यवाणी के अनुसार वर्षा होने लगी। लेकिन बारिश काफी देर तक जारी रही। बारिश के साथ ओले भी गिरे। तो लेंचो उदास था। कारण यह है कि उसकी पूरी खड़ी फसल बर्बाद हो गई। एक दाना भी नहीं बचा। उसकी एक ही आशा बची थी कि वह अपने खेत को बोने और अपने परिवार का भरण-पोषण करने के लिए एक सौ पेसो प्राप्त करने के लिए परमेश्वर से सहायता प्राप्त करे।
लेंचो ईश्वरीय दया में दृढ़ विश्वास रखने वाला था। इसलिए उसने भगवान को एक पत्र लिखने का फैसला किया और एक सौ पेसो मांगे।
