The Central Idea
The central idea of the poem ‘Fog’ is that the poet has used Metaphor Figure of Speech in the Fog has been compared to the little cat. Like the little cat, fog also comes silently. As the cat haunches on the floor, in the same way fog sits and looks over the city and harbour. Like a cat, fog too moves away silently.
‘कोहरा’ कविता का केंद्रीय विचार यह है कि कवि ने रूपक का प्रयोग करते हुए कोहरे में वाणी के चित्र की तुलना छोटी बिल्ली से की है। छोटी बिल्ली की तरह कोहरा भी चुपचाप आता है। जैसे बिल्ली फर्श पर बैठती है, वैसे ही कोहरा शहर और बंदरगाह पर बैठता है और देखता है। बिल्ली की तरह कोहरा भी चुपचाप चला जाता है.
